I am David, aka "Dave", An American song maker and pub troubadour.


Orange County, California. Home base was in Huntington Beach, a fun coast community with a nice beach and sporty people.


My new home is Berlin. I moved away from LA about three years ago. But I spend most of the year traveling around Scandinavia.
   


I call it Rock, the industry calls it "Singer-Songwriter" or "Adult Alternative", In the pubs I like playing classic sing-along hits to entertain the people.


Why is this the number one asked question? I'm old enough to know better and young enough to have fun. Picasso said, "To be creative, one must think like a child".

   


If I was rich, do you think I'd be making my own home page? Hell no! I'd pay someone else to do it.


In discount hotels, at friends' flats (couch tour) and sometimes on the train. Honest truth, people actually ask me this question.


No, I've never been married and I don't have kids. Been madly in love before but right now I am single, enjoying the bachelor life.
   

I love Europe. Been coming here for years, starting as an art student in college to see the museums, architecture and culture. I get inspired to write songs while I'm here. Plus, the German government was kind enough to offer me a permit. So I decided to make this place my home. The bonus is playing in small towns. It's great getting to know the local people in a special way.
   


The origins of the name Pedroza is from Spain but my ancestors come from Mexico. I was born in California and we are sometimes referred to as a "Mexican-American". I just say "beaner".
