IN LOVE WITH THE MOON
We recorded seven songs for this release, not included are Blue Eyed Girl and One Of A Kind. It's a CD EP in a promo type of "jacket". Most of the songs were written in Copenhagen during November & December 2007. I put together a band in Berlin the following month, rehearsed, recorded and released by February 2008. I really have to mention what great musicians and engineers I was able to work with on this project. The whole experience has been a blast. The title? For the last couple years, I've heard many questions from the people I meet in Europe. The top 3, "Where are you from?", "How old are you?" and "Why would you leave sunny California for such a cold place?" So I'm often explaining to people that laying around at the beach is not my idea of fun. I'm a night person. The sunshine bores the daylights out of me, hehe ;-). I came up with a statement: who cares for the sunshine when you are in love with the moon?
